Eddie Kieger 1997 Van Fund Progress

Learn about the fundraising effort for Eddie Kieger. A former Harley Email Digest subscriber who's motorcycle accident left him with serious brain trauma. He is currently in the process of relearning (remapping) basic motor functions and skills.

Goal:  us$8000 before mid-february 1996 Raised:  us$19884.47     (Last updated December 15, 1997) We succeeded! The van was purchased and delivery taken on the weekend of Febuary 15, 1997. However... fundraising activity continues to help pay for ongoing physiotherapy, etc. that the insurance companies refuse to pay for. Some people have even committed to making regular monthly payments to help in ongoing costs. Everyone should consider themsleves truly appreciated for this and marvel that the Internet can occasionally do something useful.
