The Seventh Annual RMH/VB&G/Digest Eyeball and Hang at the Buck'n
Gator will take place WEDNESDAY August 8, 2001.

Yes, you read correctly. WEDNESDAY. Circumstances entirely
within my control have caused me to make the change. I *know*
it's usually on Thursday, but not this year.

The event starts at 6:00 p.m. and continues until the last
biker roars out of the lot. Those of you who plan to be there
know what to expect pretty much, though there are a few
changes this year.

I spoke with Harland this morning and he plans to either have
a special for the evening or quite possibly a grill on the patio
doing brats and sliders for a reasonable cost. There *may*
be something else going on that night (like a concert or other
function), but Harland says we'll have the patio as always.

He's currently negotiating with Rapid City, which doesn't
want to give him a license to serve alcohol outside the fence
around the patio...so at the moment any plans for a concert
are very much on hold.

I will post directions to the Buck'n Gator later.

Before the Buck N' Gator there was the 1995 get-together organized by Joan, the "Cyber-Biker" gathering near Spearfish.
Also in 1995 the predecessor to the Buck N' Gator get together was held at the Elk Creek Steakhouse.
