I will be cutting and pasting the rest of this to show you the original note
as it went out to AOLers first. Sorry at how it will end up looking. BTW,
there are 100 t-shirts and pins being made up with a graphic of a motorcycle
front wheel bursting out of a computerscreen and the word "cyber-bikers(sm)"
on the keyboard. Interested? Send no money BUT pre order by sending your
size ($15 up to xl and $2 more for XXL or XXXL)

No longer know how many will show but it might be the 100's. WIng it.
Will have a back up place chosen just in case we are asked to move or
outgrow our parking lot. with all the Blue Knights showing up, we will have
traffic control if we need it

The rest is cut and paste.

Greetings! As you scroll throught the list of names you will find fellow AOLers who have something about motorcycling in their profiles. Or their names have been forwarded to me by friends who thought that you might be interested in the cyber-biker(sm) gathering during the Black Hills Classic. What I am putting together is a "meeting of the motors", a first ever cyber-biker(sm) gathering to be held on Tuesday August 8th at 10:00 a.m. at the fish hatchery parking lot in Spearfish, SD. Rain date will be Thursday with the same particulars. As whenever 2 or more bikers congregate, we are meeting in a parkinglot to - stand aorund, make minor repairs, talk, posture and just plain socialize. This will be a non-threatening atmosphere to chat with fellow bikers that you may have already met on-line. There is nothing planned except handshaking & talking. After an hour or so, some of us are planning to head out to an economical buffet luncheon at a nearby casino in Deadwood. You will be welcome to ride along or head for the hills with your own new found friends. This is NOT a harley only event. There have been responses from triumphs, BMWs, gold wings, moto guzzis and indians. Put your attitudes away because this is an open event with all welcome. There will be many HOG chapters represented along with Blue Knights, Christian Motorcyclists Ass'n, Retreads and even the little known Lettercarriers Motorcycle Club. Not all that will be attending will be on a computer service. Some will be friends of another who is. Others will be looking for something to do on a Tuesday morning. All should understand, there are no vendors nor events planned. This will be the loosest organized event of the riding season. Ages will range from 7 (our son, Alex-say hi to him if you get the chance!) to 71 (no relation). Over 29 states are represented along with three countries. I would appreciate if you would e-mail. I am collecting and co-elating the data, trying to tell people if there is anyone else from their area riding out or sharing their campground. There will those that ride and those that trailered. Ole time harley will meet with RUBies and Biker will meet enthusist. All will share the love of the open road under two wheels (no trikes have responded or identified themselves but are welcome of course!) If you are not planning on heading for the hills this August, please try to pass this on to someone who might be. Some AOLers have taken it to their chapter meetings (HOG< MRO
